Make your own sound samples
Firstly, for recording your samples, you should know:
- You can record in any sample rate: 44100Hz, 4800Hz, 88100Hz…. the higher, the better. Using higher sample rate will improve greatly the sound.
- You should record in 24 bits, AIFF or WAVE. The sound files will be converted to 32 bits float by iTabla Pandit Studio Pro.
- To prepare the sound sample for playing in a tanpura, remove the silence at the beginning and the end, to have a clean sound sample.
