Make your own sound samples

Firstly, for recording your samples, you should know:

  1. You can record in any sample rate: 44100Hz, 4800Hz, 88100Hz…. the higher, the better. Using higher sample rate will improve greatly the sound.
  2. You should record in 24 bits, AIFF or WAVE. The sound files will be converted to 32 bits float by iTabla Pandit Studio Pro.
  3. To prepare the sound sample for playing in a tanpura, remove the silence at the beginning and the end, to have a clean sound sample.
