The shadow player stop modes
The shadow player will stop playing a note when the audio input is silence.
But you can also configure it to stop playing a note when a new note is detected in the audio input. This second mode is quite useful when you want to practice tonation. You select the play mode “Automatic after 1 second”, then you play slowly your scale:
- S R G M, R G M P, G M P D, M P D N, P D N S, D N S R, N S R G, S R G M
Every time you start playing a new note, the shadow player stops, letting you properly hearing the tanpura or shruti only, so that you’ll be able to play in tune very quickly (which is the aim of the exercise).
Stop modes available:
- by silence: Stop playing the current note only when no sound is detected by the microphone (or the sound is below the minimum input level)
- by note change and by silence: Stop playing the current note when a new note is detected in the audio input or when no sound (same as above)
