In each instrument’s page, the On/Off and volume button is shown as a vertical volume button. This button combines two information:

  • The running state of an instrument: either button is on or button is off
  • The sound volume of the instrument, expressed in decibels Db.
    • a value of 0 Db means the sound is neither amplified nor attenuated.
    • a negative value -12 Db means the sound is attenuated.
    • a positive value +6 Db means the sound is amplified.
  • The value of the volume is visible with the green contrast on the button. It is also written at the bottom of the button.
