iTabla Pandit Studio can use MIDI devices for different purpose:

  • Play a harmonium using the 22 shrutis, tuned according to the current rāga.
  • Control the instruments of your music studio.
  • It works even when your device screen is locked.

Connect your MIDI devices

The MIDI Settings button will open the MIDI device management’s page, from which you may connect a MIDI device, and set the mapping between your device buttons or keys and the shrutis or notes you want to play.

MIDI for harmonium

A MIDI controller can be used for the harmonium and the other instruments. It can control many parameters of iTabla Pandit Studio Pro through MIDI:

Configure your MIDI device

Once you have connected a MIDI device, you have to define the shrutis or notes to play for the button or keys of the device. This is called the MIDI mapping.
