Create, save and share your own tanpura tunings
Once you have created your own tuning manually, you may save it for later use.
If you wan to know how to configure a tanpura manual tuning, please read 👆 Tune the Tanpura yourself.
Loading a tanpura tuning will only change the tuning and all other option of a tanpura. No other instruments will be affected by it.
A tanpura tuning contains the following information:
- The notes of the tanpura (Sa, Pa, etc.)
- The duration of the notes
- The sound sample to use to play the notes
- The tanpura parameters such as the volume, the attack, the octave, the speed, …
Save your new wonderful tanpura tuning
- In the tanpura manual tuning page, tap or click on the Save new tuning button note_add, if available.
- Or, open the tanpura tuning list with note_alt, then tap or click on the Save new tuning button note_add in the toolbar.
- Give a name to your new tuning and tap or click on the Save as button. Name examples: «Malkauns touch», «For Bhupali». You should not mention the tanpura note names, as they will be added automatically.
- Your new tuning will be saved in the list of tunings.
Apply one of your saved tanpura tunings to a tanpura
- Open the Tanpura 1 or Tanpura 2 page.
- Open the list of tanpura tunings with note_alt
- Select the tuning you want to apply
- Tap or click upload_file to apply the tuning to the tanpura, then confirm it.
Share your tuning with other users
To share your tuning with other users, you may:
- Open the Tanpura 1 or Tanpura 2 page.
- Open the tanpura tuning list with note_alt
- Just show them the associated QR code with manage_search at the end of a tuning line
- Or send it with ios_share by SMS, email, Whatsapp, etc.
